Rules of the game -

1- Each week one team must be picked. If that team wins, you progress onto week 2. If your team is beaten or draws, you are out. e.g. week 1 I pick Blackburn. If they win I go through, however if they draw or are beaten I am out.

2- Each team can only be picked once throughout the competition.

3- All picks must be in by 10am Saturday morning. Failure to do so will see the next team alphabetically to be picked. e.g. I have already used Arsenal, Aston Villa and Blackburn. In this case you will automatically be selected with Birmingham for the week.

4- The competition runs until one person is left. In the event that all teams have been picked, all teams are open for selection again.

5- All picks must be sent to Colin Gray and no-one else. If you enter the competition you will get his number. It is your respnsibility to get the pick in.

6- Entry for the game will be £10, a significant percentage available for prizes. When numbers have been finalised, the final percentage and places will be decided. Until the £10 is received for the first game, you will not be entered. Once game 2 starts new entry's will be welcome.

7- Entries must be in by Thursday 13th August 2009. Entries can be made to Colin Gray or Stephen Magill up till this date but once the competition starts your will be Colin Gray.

Week 5 saw all remaining 7 competitors get through. There seems to be no sign of the competition drawing to a close which should make for a good finish.
