Recruitment of Volunteers and Club Coaches and Helpers The following are the guidelines for recruiting volunteers and helpers within the Club, junior and senior sections. a. All new volunteers must be known to at least three of the Committee members whom sit on the Management Committee. b. The post or job for a new volunteer or helper will be advertised in the local press and in the local Community Halls etc. c. Word of mouth will also be used to recruit new volunteers. d. All volunteers must sign the Club’s Coaches of Conduct forms, and will also complete a P.O.C. checks form. e. All new volunteers will be assisted in the new job by a qualified coach for the first few months. f. New volunteers will have to attend Child Protection Courses, and Coaching Courses, that the Club will provide free of charge. g. All coaches will be insured while they are attending coaching sessions, games or helping out with club duties. h. Volunteers will pay reduced membership fees. i. New volunteers should bring new ideas or concerns to the J.J.C, who
will take them to the Club Management Committee. |
